VAKUUM BOHEMIA offers sale, servicing, and repair of oil-free rotary vacuum pumps by Busch, Becker, Rietschle, Nero, and other brands.
Carbon vane vacuum pumps are a type of oil-free rotary vacuum pump. These are air-cooled and suitable for both permanent and non-continuous operation. This type of vacuum pump operates on a similar principle to oil rotary vacuum pumps, however, they do not use any oils for lubrication. Instead of composite vanes sealed with oil, dry-running vacuum pumps use carbon vane vanes. Screw and claw vacuum pumps are other types of oil-free vacuum pumps.
We have the most popular models of carbon vane vacuum pumps and compressors in stock and it is also possible to borrow them for a test run.
Operating principle of dry running vacuum pumps
The suctioned air first passes through an integrated air filter. The eccentrically placed rotor rotates in the cylinder. Carbon vane vanes move in grooves in the rotor, inertial forces pushing the vanes towards the rotor. Lubrication reduces friction on the vanes and ensures that the vacuum pump is sealed. The vanes close the sickle-shaped space between the rotor and stator. The volume of this area changes, leading to suction, compression and exhaust.

Carbon vane mini vacuum pumps are a reliable source of vacuum (negative air pressure) and are absolutely oil-free. Mini vacuum pumps can be built directly into a machine. |
Compact carbon vane vacuum pumps are absolutely oil-free and are an ideal source of vacuum handling. |
Standard carbon vane vacuum pumps are a source of vacuum or negative air pressure. Vacuum pumps are ideal for handling medium-sized permeable items. |
