The Anest Iwata's DVSL series oil-free vacuum pumps are simple in design, low in price and proven by real work in the industry over a long period of time. The design of the pumps is such that the shaft and bearings do not come into contact with the pumped volume. This allows the use of pumps for pumping solution vapors, some corrosive gases and contaminated media.
The DVSL spiral vacuum pumps create an oil-free vacuum for pumping media with a high content of steam. Always use the vacuum pumps at an ambient operating temperature between 5 °C and 40 °C.
Advantages of the vacuum pumps of the DVSL series:
- without the use of lubricating oil or sealing water
- air-cooled system that eliminates installation limitations
- low energy consumption from atmosphere to maximum pressure
- low noise and low vibrations operation
- no gears = less maintenance
- operational reliability
- gas injection system
- excellent steam displacement capability
- compact design and reliable construction
- integrated measuring mechanism of motor hours (only with DVSL-500C / 501C)
Key parameters of the DVSL series:
- Pumping speed: of 20 m3/h to 50 m3/h
- Final pressure: from 0,3 mbar

Parameters of the resulting vacuum
The DVSL series vacuum pumps are more suitable for industrial environments and have a lower pressure limit compared to ISP pumps.
The DVSL scroll vacuum pumps are equipped with a dry vacuum system, so there is no need for lubricating oil or sealing water. The absence of gears means that it is low maintenance, there is no need to change gear oil and therefore no risk of lubricating oil leaks.
Air Flush
Pumping wet gas through the vacuum pump can cause condensed moisture to remain in the vacuum pump. This remaining moisture can cause a failure of the vacuum pump or of the final pressure. The use of an Air Flush is necessary to remove any remaining moisture.
The vacuum pump is equipped with a water cooling system that eliminates the need for an on-site water cooling control.
The DVSL series is excellent at displacing steam. The low power differential between atmospheric pressure and maximum pressure allows for repeated and continuous operation. The equipment consumes less energy and can lead to large vacuum savings.
As DVSL vacuum pumps contain no lubricating oil or sealing water and no bearings in the gas path, they provide a clean vacuum and do not create any oil mist. The Air Flush device has been added as a standard feature, just like the original dry vacuum system. The reliability and maintenance intervals as well as the efficiency of steam extraction and extraction of small particles have been significantly improved. It is thus a perfect dry-running system with clean vacuum. There is no oil mist since no lubricating oil or sealing water is used inside the pump and no bearing is fitted around the part that is in contact with the gases.
