THE HISTORY OF VAKUUM BOHEMIA

The origins of VAKUUM BOHEMIA date back to 1998, when Ing. Vít Němec and Ing. Magdalena Němcová began conducting business in vacuum technology. The company started as an exclusive representative for Busch in the Czech Republic and offered sale, servicing, and repair of vacuum pumps by Busch, Becker, Leybold, Rietschle, Tuthill, and other brands. The company’s increasing reputation was also accompanied by its growth.

In 2003, the company’s activities were transferred to VAKUUM BOHEMIA s.r.o. The growth of the company meant that it had to move to a new facility at Lidická Kolonie 47, Jihlava. The company has its own 500 m2 warehouse, office areas, and workshops spanning 700 m2.

In 2005, VAKUUM BOHEMIA implemented the ISO 9001:2001 quality management system.

In 2004, the company’s product range was expanded with:

• exclusive representation for MANN+HUMMEL, Kinney, PUMA, Pompetravaini
• exclusive service for Elektror Airsystems Gmbh

Expansion of the company’s facilities in 2014:

• construction of equipment for industrial cleaning of extra-large vacuum pumps and blowers
• installation of lifting equipment for assembly and disassembly of vacuum pumps weighing up to 3 tons
